Ride
for Your Rights! 2012 in the starting blocks
After the 2011 edition of the Ride For
Your Rights! project, the Student Council of Campus Europae and
the Erasmus Student network decided to jointly renew the Tour for
2012. This edition of the Ride for Your Rights! project will take
place from the 25th of May to the 2nd of June 2012. It will be
composed of several "star-rides" in different cities of Europe.
The first defined route will go from Luxembourg to Brussels, with
the main focus lying in the future and the 25th anniversary of the
Erasmus programme. For more information check out the website rideforyourrights.org

Campus Europae met from the 5th - 7th of December
representatives of the University of Novgorod, Russia. The purpose
of the meeting was to discuss the practical aspects of a potential
membership of the University of Novgorod to the European
University Foundation - Campus Europae after having signed a declaration
of cooperation in the beginning of November 2011. This
meeting will be followed by an official proposal to the Board of
Directors.

What are
the concrete steps towards a project? What is the profile of a
project manager? How should the project manager act within the
team and the project itself? Such questions will be given an
answer during the training course proposed on the 1st - 2nd of
March and on the 29th - 30th of March 2012. The application
deadline is the 3rd of February. More

release: Civil society organisations react on the "Erasmus for
all" 2014 - 2020 proposal
The European Commission released in
November 2011 the communication on the proposal for the future
of the Lifelong Learning and Youth in Action programme.
Following this communication, civil society organisations met in
Brussels to discuss challenges and changes occuring potentially
with this proposal. The outcome of the meeting was an immediate
joint press-release
and further actions to be taken during January 2012 in order to
centralize the demands of the civil society. More information on
the "Erasmus for all" can be found on the website of the European
Commission.
