Sharing best practices on academic recognition!

recognitionThis workshop will build on the conclusions of the questionnaire circulated to the Board of Director members and the Campus Europae Coordinators during Autumn 2011 and will offer to its participants several examples of how the internal organization of a Higher Education Institution has a decisive impact in the quality of academic recognition, based on the examples of several Campus Europae universities.

Prof. António Ferrari, EUF-CE President will welcome the participants and contribute with a note on academic recognition as a cornerstone of the EU 2020 mobility policies, followed by Prof. Estela Pereira, EUF-CE Ombudswoman, presenting the outcome of the study on recognition practices within the CE network. The discussion on recognition practices will be complemented by concrete presentations by the Technical University of Lodz and the Univeristy of Eastern Finland.

The participants of the workshop will have the opportunity to treat different anonymized student dossiers, in order to discover the recognition challenges and practices on a very concrete level. The workshop will be followed by a discussion among the participants.
